The following checklist will help as a guide for you to remember all details
Fonts
(are they included or create outline)
Page layout
(do you have the correct page size)
Margins
(have you set the proper margins)
Bleed
(is the bleed set up if required)
Crop Marks
(are the crop marks added to artwork)
Linked files
(are all images, and fonts supplied or embedded)
Colours
(were all colours converted to CMYK mode)
Images
are all images embedded)
Did I
forget something?
All images must be embedded or supplied when supplying
Illustrator (Ai), PDF or EPS files.
For best colour results image resolution should be converted
to CMYK at 100dpi at final output size
(if the artwork has been scaled to 10%, image resolution should be set up at 1000 dpi).
When supplying PDF file, please ensure images are not compressed.
Adobe Photoshop PSD. files should be 300 dpi at 100% of final size
(embed all fonts and set the screen value to 133 dpi.) Best practice is supply a PDF file.
You can request soft digital proofs as PDF files or a Hard copy proof.
Soft proofs only intend to show you the layout and design of your job.
Please note that we cannot guarantee colour accuracy from PDF file soft proof.
If it is of extreme importance to you and require colour accuracy, please ask for a hard copy proof.
Scan all transparencies and line art at 100% of final size.
